29: A Via Rail train was stopped and evacuated shortly after leaving Sudbury for Mtl as a result of a bomb threat.  An OPP team failed to locate any explosives.  6 hours later the same individual made a second telephone threat, causing the evacuation of a transcontinental train then in Sudbury station.

39: Halifax radio station CJCH received several calls from someone claiming to have a message from a Muslim terrorist group stating that explosives had been planted in the washroom of a local food outlet.
